This curtain pole commission came from an interior designer who wanted a curtain pole made to match some window furniture in an arts & crafts style house. These poles were made for a builder that I regularly work with who does quite a lot of oak timber frame work. We wanted to acknowledge this in some way so we chose a stylised acorn for the finials.
